Domestic bliss in the suburbs is disturbed by an innocuous set of house keys.
Broadway was selected as a Regional Delivery Partner for the British Film Institute’s Film Academy Network for the first time in 2012 to ‘give talented 16-19 year olds with a passion for film, from all backgrounds across England, the opportunity to be part of our future film industry.
We offered the opportunity for 18 young people aged 16 -19 to take part in an intensive three-month “Experience Film” programme taking place at Broadway in evenings and weekends between 10th January and 28th March 2012 to work with local industry professionals. There was over 75 hours of activity encompassing practical filmmaking and developed an understanding of film theory and the film industry, alongside the production of three short films which featured professional actors and shot using industry-standard equipment.
The public screening took place in Broadway’s Screen 1 Cinema on Saturday 31st March 2012.
